Egg Tarts

225 gm plain flour
2 tbsp castor sugar
170 gm cold butter ( break to pieces)
1 egg yolk
2 tbsp cold water

Sieve flour, sugar
Rub in Butter
Add beaten Yolk, Ice water
make into a dough
wrap in cling film.
chill in the refrigerator for 30mins
Roll out chilled dough in between 2 plastic sheets to cm thickness.
Place onto greased tart tray.

140 gm sugar
310 ml water
5 eggs- slightly beaten
125 ml fresh milk
sugar in water (warm)
Stir in egg mixture until smooth ( no cooking)

Pour into cup- 3/4 full.
Bake together 210 degrees/mark7
For 25mins or until golden brown
